My software records HD shows and creates files with an extension of .tp Your software only is aware of .avi as far as I can tell. Why are you concerned about the extension? Just ignore the file extension.

If you manually fetch an episode list and then drag it over it's no problem of course.

But if you want filebot to automatically figure everything out, it does help alot to know what info is useful and what can be ignored based on filetypes. FileBot is aware of all common container formats. Your .tp files are probably just mpg containers anyway.

Then please add it to the list of acceptable videos files.
