I seem to have a problem that's been ongoing for awhile now, And when I mean "awhile" I mean probably longer than 4 weeks. Before I post my problem here are the things that are requested in the "How to request help" thread.

System & Filebot Info
  • FileBot version 4.7.7 (r4678)
    Windows 10 64Bit
    Intel 4770k Stock
32GB RAM (Maxed for my Computer)
    Java 8 Update 121
    Java 8 Update 121(64-bit)
Java SE Development Kit 8 Update 111
Java Update Development Kit 8 Update 111(64-bit)
Java Update Development Kit 8 Update 121(64-bit)
How I installed Filebot & Other Info

I installed Filebot using the Windows 10 Store App, Purchasing the app Filebot. For the Java, I used the website called http://www.Ninite.com. Ninite downloads the latest versions of all the software and applications and finds the correct OS version 32bit or 64bit while installing the applications.

My Problem

My problem is that when I go to search for a series, Which is mainly Anime, I click "Match" and a window will pop up concerning the correct title of the name, For example, I am using "Natsume Yuuinchou Go", "Bleach, "Rurouni Kenshin", "Naruto" and "Naruto Shippuuden", But when I click the name of the title that appears in the popup box, It disappears and the yellow loading circle is gone, Not finding the anime series. When I try to search the series in the "Episodes Tab" I get a similar result, But more so that I don't get anything found but a popup saying "Series not found". I know that these series are there and before Filebot has found them in the database. But after I match some titles to my anime that I have, Filebot stops working and stops finding the series and titles.

As in the pictures below, These anime are not found in Filebot. I am not sure why, But after a while of me matching titles to my anime, Filebot stops working for some reason. I don't know why. But now I am reporting this problem or bug.

That is indeed strange. It works for me.

1.
Are there any logs in this folder? If yes, what do they say?

Code: Select all

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\PointPlanck.FileBot
 The exact path may be slightly different for you.

2.
Open PowerShell and try to query episode information.

Check FileBot:

Code: Select all

filebot -list --q "Natsume Yuuinchou Go" --db AniDB
Check AniDB HTTP API:

Code: Select all

Invoke-WebRequest -Uri "http://api.anidb.net:9001/httpapi?request=anime&client=filebotappstore&clientver=6&protover=1&aid=12009"

Alright, So I checked the folder path that you suggested, And I looked for any and all logs, Unfortunately, there was none.

Below are my results in a screenshot format of the Filebot Check and AniDB check.

It says <error>Banned</error> so it looks like AniDB has banned you. Try not accessing AniDB in any way for a few days or weeks.

I am currently having the exact problem. What information do I need to provide and from where?

What does AniDB say when you send a request? See previous posts in this thread for details.

I do not have this folder:

Code: Select all

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\PointPlanck.FileBot
My Filebot directory is in the Roaming directory under AppData. Is that wrong?

Neither Powershell command works for me.

The thing is that TVdb is not working for me also.

And all this was very sudden. Two days ago everything worked. Yesterday, everything stopped working. I am confused.

* refers to a random number so you need to check the contents of %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages for the FileBot folder:

Code: Select all

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\PointPlanck.FileBot_*\LocalCache\Roaming\FileBot

So, AniDB, TVDB are now doing this to me.

TVMaze is not.

So I can't figure out if I have been banned, or those two DBs don't like scripts anymore.
