FileBot

Hi,

I recently upgraded to the windows store version as i was having some issues. I believe i had it all working but it suddenly
stopped working again.
When i now look in C:\Users\HomeServer\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\ the filebot.exe is there but filebot.launcher.exe is missing. Any idea why this is the case? i tried reinstalling for the windows store but its still the same.

Windows Store apps can't provide more than one command-line tool anymore, so filebot.launcher.exe had to go. Why do you need it anyway? It's just a cheap workaround for CMD issues, for which there is better solutions.

Thanks for the reply. I used launcher to keep the cmd windows hidden i.e. my command in utorrent started "C:\program files\filebot\ filebot.launcher.exe" -script fn:amc etc. I set this up a long time ago and to be honest, have forgotten what little i used to know about it. If you could point me in the right direction as to a better solution, i'd be very grateful.

If you're using utorrent, then you'll want to do this:
