Re: Filesize limit?

I use the GUI for these files, drag & drop - I do not use folders in the paths for movies or extras. FB should NOT be looking at folders when I drop files directly into the GUI. This is a case example of WHY it should not look at folders. Just because I have the word 'extras' in a foldername, do...

Re: Filesize limit?

<groans internally...> I should have trusted your gut a little earlier, red... None of my FILES have the 'clutter' words in the filenames, but the FOLDERS do. That is, Z:\Movies\C\C=Extras - typical path for the bits & pieces that aren't working now. I just tested some sample files in different ...

Re: Filesize limit?

Can you provide one full file path for one of the ignored files for testing? Because basic test cases such as this one work regardless of file size as far as I can tell: X:/Movies/Avatar.2009.mp4 OK, further testing results after checking paths: it is the Synology NAS that's the problem. When my Dr...

Re: Filesize limit?

OK - I believe there's no follow-up at this time, red - if there's no FB feature in place that covers this; then this post will simply serve as a note in case something is found later... I don't use scripts or plex or other media library, so there is no auto-cleanup of clutter or auto-filtering; I d...

Re: Filesize limit?

Hey, red - I'm simply doing what I've been doing for years; renaming TV & movies, but also DVD 'extras'. The 'extras' format is simply shorter than the regular format. i.e. Backdraft (1991) [137 min] (1A,1S) (SE) [Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, Robert De Niro] [Action, Crime, Drama].mp4 and Back...

Filesize limit?

I've just had to rename all my media files, and now find that FB will not touch files under about 150mb in size. Is there a system- or programmed- limit to the size of files that FB will process in the current version? Specifically, I use one format for movies, and one for the movies' DVD extras, et...

Need to pull YEAR of S01E01 of a series

After TheTVDB's overhaul last fall, I've seen many new 'specials' added which shouldn't be there, often with prior year's one-offs or other non-series items, that cause the episodelist.airdate.year(min) field to bring in a year that is wrong. I'm working on cleanup of those, but meantime, I've done ...

Re: series naming does not include year anymore

Thanks - removing the braces seems to have done the trick.

*I know I can replace names with the replace function; I have a lot, which fill up the FB buffer - so I have to use an external CSV file.

Re: series naming does not include year anymore

Hey, Kim - so sorry I never replied; I don't recall seeing this reply... In any case, nothing has worked for my format. Or, let me re-phrase: Nothing has worked for MY format... all of these code samples work as intended, but within my format, something is still giving an error. Snippet at issue: {A...

Re: series naming does not include year anymore

Hi, red - I've just found a situation that my formats don't cover. A new series "What We Do in the Shadows", which has a 2019 season year, had its pilot movie from 2014 entered into TheTVDB as a Special. As a result, the {episodelist.airdate.year.min()} is now 2014, rather than 2019 for th...

Re: if genres undefined then...

My 2 cents on the issue: For months now, the check in my code for (no genre exists) has failed and caused an error - and I think this is the original poster's question: If a genre exists then Show me nothing Else Show me 'qwerty' Endif I use: {((genres ?: ['GENRE']))} but I now get [Expression yield...

Re: BURN SUBTITLES INTO FILES

FileBot simply organizes the filenames for you; it doesn't do anything to the files themselves. There are lots of (free & paid) tools that will help you with that, though. Videohelp is a great resource (https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/364372-How-to-easily-burn-in-hardcode-srt-subtitles-to-mp...

Feature Request: Episodes interface improvement

In the GUI, on the Episodes tab: The 'close' icon (red 'x') is at the top-right corner. It's tiny!!!! I often do a number of episode checks on different shows, which opens new tabs each show, but when I want to close them, it's tricky to accurately click on the 'x' as I have to move the cursor left ...

Feature Request: Add release #/date to version #

Add Release# (& date?) in the GUI - perhaps in the main top-left corner where the version # is (i.e. currently "Filebot 4.7.1" but would like to see "Filebot 4.7.1, r4109, 2016-07-27", or in an ABOUT dropdown menu like other software. This would let users know more quickly (a...

Re: Match function not (quite) working?

1. I'd try something like this: {any{fn.match(/S\d{2}E\d{2}\p{L}/)}{s00e00 + ' - ' + t}} I knew I was missing something... the 'any' part has done the trick! 3. If you make a Preset with a predefined Input Folder , then you can also specify an Includes filter that prevents certain files from being ...

Match function not (quite) working?

Sorry to bug you, red, but this one's got me stumped. I'm trying to combine several code snippets into one, but what I want to do, is not passing a boolean check. Basically: IF the source filename contains a S00E00 (letter) , then skip the formatting process altogether ( i.e. keep the S00E00(letter)...

Re: Using CSVs for lists to insert into format?

Read all lines, join with | to build a regex that matches any of the lines: {fn.replaceAll(readLines('/path/to/file.txt').join('|'), '')} This is, of course, the elegant solution I was looking for... didn't have the "readLines" - thanks! EDIT:  Please share your "crap list"...

Using CSVs for lists to insert into format?

I've recently added a preset format to strip all the junk from filenames that aren't recognized by the database yet - shows that premiered last night, for example, where nobody has yet added an entry for them. I currently use a ReplaceAll to eliminate all the crap, but it's going to be tedious to ke...

Re: Help needed - {Subt} binding

Great, thanks - {text} is the start I need... After some trials, I seem to be unable to return a 'zero' value, if there are no subtitles (embedded). What I'd like to do is add code like this: {audio.size+' Audio &'} {text.size+' Subs'} but I've had to whittle it down to this: {audio.size+' Audio...
