Re: Need help renaming Naruto/Bleach/One Piece (hundreds of eps)
This is a nearly 10 year old thread man... Anyway, you don't *have* to serialise for TMDb at least. TMDb's default sorting for long-running anime is one big season as you already noticed. And if you're using that default naming it's a one-liner on a command line, you don't even need FileBot for that...

Re: comments in @file syntax?
This is the line I call with (actually 2 more in a bat for testing): filebot -script fn:amc --log-file "C:\Users\tarulia\Documents\filebot\amc.log" --action test --conflict override -non-strict --filter "if (label == /TV_old/) return true; age < 30 || !model.any{ it.age < 30 }" -...

comments in @file syntax?
Been a while again... :) I just fiddled around with the @file syntax you suggested to use here . Apparently, comment's aren't stripped from the files when parsed? My file (don't mind the format, I just copy&pasted what I already had, no work done): // test any{order.airdate.s+'x'+order.airdate.e...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked up
So, after I've been quiet for a while I fiddled around a little more today, tried getting this format to work in the AMC. I actually got it to work (without asking, yay!) like this as an AMC parameter: "seriesFormat={any{order.airdate.s+'x'+order.airdate.es.join('-')+' ['+group+'] '+ episodes*....

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked up
Now that's weird... I updated to the same rev, dragged the file into the GUI, same result... Ran the 2 console commands, works, and now GUI works too .. what? :D This time the GUI was asking me for the series though (it cought "filebot_test" in the path, won't work obviously). Could it be ...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked up
1. Yeah, Plex uses range, but Kodi only uses those episodes that are actually in the filename. 13x30-35 is S13 Episode 30 and 35 for Kodi Note: Only the episodes in the file name will be added, e.g. name.s01e01-03.ext will not include episode 2. So custom format has to do :) 2. It's simple once one ...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked up
You're too fast for me :P It's all a little confusing not knowing exactly where what is processed, takes a little time :) I'll get around to it some day :) One thing that's missing though... That format string returns this: 13x30-35 [Taka] 290-291-292-293-294-295 [210318B3].mp4 So, the absolute numb...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked
3. No hurry, single episode files work perfectly fine for the time being, and as mentioned, multi-episode is somewhat rare these days, I can just rename them by hand. 4. I'll try again when the new version is out, if I don't forget :) 5. Well, that explains something... I always though the curly bra...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked
1. That's what I thought and why I replaced the jar file ;) 2. Ah well, suspected that, but was worth a shot :) 3. makes sense, so in the end there's probably no way to actually do Multi-Episode Absolute to Multi-Episode Airdate order (at least not at download time, with AMC). But then again, it's ...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked
Oh my god this is beautiful :) At first I was confused because it wouldn't match anything after I already applied stage1, reverted that and just used the original files. Works like a charm! Thank you again :) Appears that that abs2sxe script is outdated now :) Really wondering though, this shouldn't...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked
Hey there again :) So, just tested it and Stage1 is working fine with the fix, thanks! In Stage2 however the additional episodes are still lost (I didn't rename the third file to test something out): http://i.imgur.com/PmbSnqz.png Or is it just not possible to match multiple absolute episode numbers...

Re: Multi-Episode not being picked
1. Fixed with r4671 . Maybe. Kinda. Might break other things. Thanks! I'll try it out when I get the time (probably not today) :) 2. The abs2sxe script doesn't work for multi-episode objects at all. It's a hack that uses the airdate as unique identifier that is the same regardless of episode order....

Multi-Episode not being picked up
I have a little issue with a (granted rare) occurence of a multi-episode file, and I'm not sure if it can even be solved, so here goes. First the 2 filenames: [Taka]_Naruto_Shippuuden_286-287_[720p][B48E507C].mp4 [Taka]_Naruto_Shippuuden_Chikara_290-295_[720p][210318B3].mp4 I'm using the Absolute Or...

Looks like the functionality is currently not available
I could be wrong though, maybe the link is inserted into the nfo elsewhere.

Apparently I overread something, I understood that the warning is just being supressed, at least I understood the first reply as in "it may work, it may not"

Re: won't rename if case change only, reports conflict
The problem is basically this: Current Windows file systems, like NTFS, are case-sensitive; that is a readme.txt and a Readme.txt can exist in the same directory. However, the API for file access in Windows applications is case-insensitive, which makes filenames case-insensitive from the application...

Re: Copying, not Moving Files
Additionally to the above, check that you have write access on the input folder, in case filebot is running on a different user then the user that created the files. When moving across devices Windows copies the files to the new location then deletes the old one, which would fail if the user executi...

Re: Illegal usage: input [label:null, state:20
One question though, if I keep E:\Download as my input folder - how will Fb know the original media files are to be found there? Because the input files are getting passed to FB/AMC via the ut_file or ut_dir parameters filled in by whatever program you're using, depending whether ut_kind is single ...

Re: Group issue & using ut_title?
I guess it just doesn't work because a lot of the files (but I really can't remember which one) I processed back when I was still using my old unused macbook as my "fileserver" with the NFTS-3G (G3? idk) driver which probably didn't have it implemented at the time. Was never really an issu...

Re: Group issue & using ut_title?
Mh, Hi10 releases aside I don't know, tbh I'm not following a whole lot of anime series so I can't say. The filename I posted above is their actual release-format, the Hatsuyuki thing was just a test to see if it would work. The thing with xattr is it only works on unixoid systems as I understand, I...

Re: Group issue & using ut_title?
1. Is there any way to force searching for the group anywhere in the file-name, risking false positives on my own account? /edit also, just testet a little. Group is found in Filebot 4.6.1, but 4.7 and following it doesn't work anymore (just saying even though it is technically working as intended) ...

Group issue & using ut_title?
Hey there again, while trying to enhance my naming a little I ran into an issue. My files for this release are in the format: (Hi10)_Code_Geass_-_01_(BD_1080p)_(Coalgirls)_(Dual_Audio)_(DC1BBB7A).mkv Now Coalgirls is on the list , but it's not picked up for use with {group}. Even just using a simple...
