Re: support for XEM?

I'll have a play and see if I can come up with any oddities. thanks rednoah =) edit: doesn't look like it will do what I want for anything that has an alternative name for the season. ie: sword art online s3 title var is "Sword Art Online Alicization" instead of just "Sword Art Online...

Re: support for XEM?

So how about files with the original sourced names? I should have probably included them above instead of just "what I wanted". The above as mentioned already had SxE data which was sourced separately, so realistically not a fair comparison. Here are a few examples (hopefully these will be...

Re: support for XEM?

"Boku no Hero Academia" is probably a good example. TVDB uses My Hero Academia So I would be expecting it stored like \path\to\Boku no Hero Academia\Season 4\Boku.no.Hero.Academia.S04E01.A064.720p.GROUP.mkv My current name string. I would, of course, add the path later, but currently, a ba...

Re: support for XEM?

I just saw this thread and was wondering if the mapper function allows you to use —dB tvdb but keep the original Romanized Japanese title for anime? I was using a csv generated from XML to map titles but this looks like it could be cleaner.

An example would be great if this is possible.

Re: Ability to Select Specials under Episodes Tab

OMG, how didn't I realise that? derp... Well, use that in the meantime. Thanks, red. It still might be useful adding it as a filter, I've noticed on some series (since tvdb update atleast) running 4.7.9 that unless you select all seasons, sometimes it doesn't show all specials. Use to be I could sel...

Ability to Select Specials under Episodes Tab

Would like the ability to select only specials under the "Episodes" tab. I've found it kind of annoying when dealing with Anime and OVA's/etc.

This would help alot when manually matching stuff (rather than bring in all the season excess)

Re: For artwork.* scripts add support for setting the ID

1. If you use AniDB then the folder/file names won't necessarily be compatible with TheTVDB. The examples you posted are definitely not well-named and have not been processed with FileBot. Can you define well named? Because since 2014 all my movies / tvshows / anime have been using filebot. The abo...

Re: For artwork.* scripts add support for setting the ID

--q does essentially what I was asking for anyways so good catch. I didn't realise you can stack the standard switches with -script. I do still encountered this issue with Show/Season N/Episode XY structure were it takes a single common word and than cannot find the matching result. Usually a proble...

For artwork.* scripts add support for setting the ID

Hi, I have encountered this quite a few times. It would be useful if when calling these scripts if we could also force it to use a certain ID. I encounter this every now and than with Anime (shows/movies) were the listed name does not show up even if multiple results occur. This option should be opt...

Re: Mapping Series to folder Name stored in csv

1. Yes. Search the forums. e.g. https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=182 2. retaining the name for the folder {folder.name} is probably a much better and easier solution for this specific case. Thanks rednoah, I did search but somehow missed that topic. folder.name wont help in th...

Mapping Series to folder Name stored in csv

Quick question. Is it possible when renaming files to instead of using \seriesname\season\ep to use a value from csv using the new name for the episode? This would be for renaming anime to the names listed in tvdb whilst retaining the name for the folder. Example csv: seriesNameTVDB,seriesName,serie...

Re: [Question] Processing folder as a file at cli

Sorry to be a pain but i just had some times to test this and it didn't work. Is --target only available to that script (not a general cmd) because no matter what it seems to process the contents of the folder, not the folder itself.

[Question] Processing folder as a file at cli

Hello, Just wondering how you replicate the control+shift drag and drop action in cli. So instead of processing the folders contents i want to process the folder itself. I know i can include a folder path in the rename string when processing files, but i wish to keep these tasks separate for a reaso...

Re: Question Regarding abs2sxe

I ended up using a mix of the alias command as a few other strings & logic into a script and that worked perfectly. Thanks for all your help. As for group patterns: i dunno if these groups have been added (these at-least didn't work during my naming) animeNOW and Final8 did not detect properly. ...

Re: Question Regarding abs2sxe

1.You can use the match() function, e.g. fn.match(/BD/) Worked Perfectly. Only seems to be a few subgroups use weird naming schemes for blurays, but was surprised BD wasn't added already. 3.Yes. There's some examples in the forums. Something like {if episode.special ? A : B} O.o ternary statement. ...

Re: Question Regarding abs2sxe

Just a few follow up question, (if this is not the correct place i will raise a new thread). So i've got my final format string down to something like this: {"Season ${s.pad(2)}"}/{n.space('.')}.{s00e00}.{vf}{'.'+source}{any{'.'+group}{'.Unknown'}} Now I have a few final questions (spent a...

Question Regarding abs2sxe

First of all Filebot has been a real lifesaver since i've found it. (Srs it has saved me days of work from what i was originally doing) anyways.... I quick question regarding the abs2sxe script, i've ran into a small issue when using the --format argument along with {group}, it comes up empty. I bel...
