Re: Patreon for FileBot for Linux

Ah, didnt knew that Linux had no support since some months. Why is it so important for you that linux has no easy way to sell the software? The Userbase would still be the same, doesnt matter if they get it trough Patreon or from a Linux Shop like the Windows Store/Mac Store. Do i forget something h...

Re: Patreon for FileBot for Linux

So you would just drop the support if there are not enough people who are willing to support linux? What about the people that were willing to support? Isnt that also a slap in the face for them? They dont have an alternative or did i miss something? Would you consider to make a paid version so atle...

Re: Patreon for FileBot for Linux

Did you changed the Patreon Goal from 1.000$ to 1.000 Patreons? Iam pretty sure the goal were to get money and not patreons. 1000 Patreons is a bit too much in my opinion, you said yourself there is not such a high userbase for linux, why do you take the chance away, for the few people who are suppo...

Re: java.lang.ClassFormatError: Unknown constant tag 111 in class file

You are right - iam the kind of "never touch a running system" I updated Java to Java 1.8.0_144 and FileBot to 4.7.9 (Not sure if you misstyped or it was really FileBot 4.5 before that, Sysinfo showed me 4.7.5) And ofcourse it worked, the Rename went well. But now I have the following prob...

Re: Get the Name of the Folder where the Files are

PS: I recommend using simple -rename calls or amc calls instead of renall calls. I had the feeling that -rename -r doesnt go into subfolders - I tested it after you said that -renall -r is not necessery. With renall everything worked fine so far. I also use the amc script for a folder where are bot...

Re: Get the Name of the Folder where the Files are

Long story short, -script fn:renall -r is effectively the same as -rename -r but slow, but without -r the behaviour will be different depending on your your input folder is organized. Thanks for the clarification - will change it to -rename -r. One more thing - is it possible to just add a Series t...

Re: Get the Name of the Folder where the Files are

1. That specific file pattern with that specific series doesn't work, but it might start working in the future. In the meanwhile you'll have to do it semi-manually by manually entering the search query. See FAQ #2. Thanks for the hint - could help me, will look into that. It only happens to kinda w...

Get the Name of the Folder where the Files are

Good evening, first of all english is not my native language, so sorry for any misspelling. Is it possible that FileBot uses the Name of the Folder to search in TheTVDB? I got a Folder that has the name: /The.OA.S01.German.DD51.DL.1080p.NetflixUHD.x264-TVS - Black sagt danke! - the media files insid...
