Re: Mapping AniDB numbers to TheTVDB numbers doesn't always work

Your Preset is using Datasource: TheTVDB but the amc script is using --def animeDB=AniDB by default, which in turn changes how {db} works internally, i.e. mapping TheTVDB ➔ TheTVDB does nothing and thus always works, while mapping AniDB ➔ TheTVDB may or may not work depending on the series and avail...

Re: Plex TV Series Naming with Year

Sounds like nothing is perfect, but close enough most of the time. Well, I'd say that {plex.id} is pretty perfect if you're using Plex and the new Plex TV Series agent so I'd go with that if you don't mind numbers in the file path. But please do report back if you actually run into any specific iss...

Re: Plex TV Series Naming with Year

That likely depends on your chosen agent and agent version. Doctor Who (1963) explicitly does not work for any HTPC software that uses the folder name to search on TheTVDB. {plex} cannot be changed for this reason alone, but commonly used bindings changing their behaviour is generally frowned upon a...

Re: Plex TV Series Naming with Year

It appears the TV Series first air year isn't automatically included in the {plex} binding. I'm wondering if this is on purpose or an oversight, given that Plex recommends including the year on the series folder and filename? The Name (Year) recommendation refers to TV Shows where the series name l...

Re: script remaning to mkv

This is your Anime format, tv shows\{n}/{'Season '+s}/{db.TheTVDB.emby[3]} and based on the output path, E:\other\tv shows\Scarlet Nexus\mkv we can deduce that {'Season '+s} and {db.TheTVDB.emby[3]} failed to yield a value. This is entirely expected since mapping AniDB ➔ TheTVDB information isn't al...

Re: General capability questions

1) Currently, I have a tv show sort folder AND a movie sort folder. After placing new content in each sort folder, I then run different CLI commands for filebot to rename and move each type. If I merge both the tv show AND movie sort folders to ONE sorting folder, can filebot detect, rename and mov...

Additional Anime-specific or Language-specific datasources are not planned at this point. Does anilist.co provide anything specific that you need but isn't provided by TheMovieDB / TheTVDB / AniDB?

Re: Excluding multiple shows with excludes.txt

The id in [1431] bit is just one example. It's completely up to you and your code. Include / Exclude by id / name / airdate / country / genre / etc. Load data from local files, the internet, etc. Any code that some how comes up with true | false will do. e.g. include ID id in [1431] e.g. exclude ID ...

Re: Transform existing/working amc script to docker command amc script

Why did you remove the @ in the command that is executed inside your docker container?

e.g. absolute @file on Windows

Code: Select all

--def seriesFormat="@C:/path/to/SeriesFormat.txt"
e.g. absolute @file on Linux

Code: Select all

--def seriesFormat="@/path/to/SeriesFormat.txt"

What is the filebot command-line you're trying to execute? Don't do everything at once. Do things step by step. First, prototype your filebot command without docker . 1. Yep, that "help" message doesn't seem to make much sense. Fixed . 2. If you're manually using the FileBot Node WebUI via docker, then you may prefer to use the FileBot Desktop application via docker instead: https://github.com/filebot/filebot-docker#filebot-xpra https://i.imgur.com/QPAuz5Z.png

Re: Whoopsies! --action TEST requires a valid license.

Unfortunately, the filebot command-line tool can only be evaluated on an interactive command-line, i.e. you can SSH into your machine and call filebot and the amc script yourself, but you cannot evaluate filebot via FileBot Node.

Re: Excluding multiple shows with excludes.txt

If you're using a lookup table like the one suggest above, then you can use the csv() function to read it in as a Map object:

Code: Select all

none{ id.toString() in csv('/path/to/excludes.tsv') }
:!: id in csv(...) won't work because id is an Integer value, but the Map keys are String values.

Re: Latest Filebot adding comma to kbps listing <please stop>

You can force {kbps} into an simple Integer value like so: { kbps as int } kbps 5084 kbps Alternatively, the {bitrate} binding will now dynamically switch to different units depending on the value, so that would format to 5 Mbps instead of 5,084 kbps and thus get rid of the comma, but also change th...

Cheers, much appreciated. Unfortunately, there's a case for having multiple purchase options, so there's some complexity that couldn't be avoided. The advantage of the Microsoft Store is convenience.
