Re: Run Filebot node every 6 hours.

No, that is above my pay grade. Rednoah you have tried b4 but a command prompt is not my friend ! I need someone with a Qnap NAS that is using this command " 0 */4 * * * /opt/filebot-node/task 1 " Or similar. The script works just does not run every 4 hours. I would send a picture of the S...

Re: Run Filebot node every 6 hours.

I am back to see if anyone has had success running crontab script every 4 or 6 hours. The schedule shows in my filebot node in Qnap NAS and runs when I click the schedule. This is the line in crontab that does not run every 4 hours . Is "task 1 " correct 0 */4 * * * /opt/filebot-node/task...

Re: unable to resolve class org.apache.commons.mail.EmailException

The filebot command itself doesn't have state. But since you're using the FileBot Node WebUI your browser might be remembering some things. Thanks Red, You know a helluva lot more than me but I am pretty sure my browser does not save every detail in the Filebot-node settings. Organize Files - File ...

Re: unable to resolve class org.apache.commons.mail.EmailException

Both node and filebot are gone! Screenshots or it didn't happen. ;) Filebot node is still in the start menu so i can open the app but no option to remove !! Granted, the QNAP WebUI is pretty bad, but I'm sure you'll figure it out if you click around a little bit. ;) Hey Red, filebot and filebot nod...

Re: unable to resolve class org.apache.commons.mail.EmailException

Hi Red, Please uninstall all versions of FileBot you may have installed. Then only install the latest one. Also, use -script fn:name and not -script dev:name just in case. OK these versions filebot node 0.2.8.7 and filebot 4.9.0 I have. But i want to delete all and restart but they are no lo...

Re: Filebot Node New Error 100

The latest revision is currently at FileBot 4.9.0 (r7114) so please try that for good measure: https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1609  Use fn:amc for daily usage and not dev:amc . The latter is for developers and early adopters that are always running the latest revision. Hi Red,...

Ok some good news and some bad news.

My "pushalot" notification showed that file bot ran at 4.am Yes!

But it did not show in the GUI. No really that bad a news.

Will now change it to run every 6 hours .

Re: Run Filebot node every 6 hours.

Manually works and have now got the space so it looks like this

Code: Select all

0 */6 * * * /opt/filebot-node/task 1
Will it show in the filebot-node GUI under tasks when/if it runs?

Re: Run Filebot node every 6 hours.

No space between * and /command would be the first obvious issue. This might help: https://crontab-generator.org/ EDIT: Here's a crontab line that definitely works since I'm using it on my QNAP test device for nightly test runs: 0 4 * * * /share/homes/admin/scripts/nightly.sh > /share/homes/admin/s...

Run Filebot node every 6 hours.

Code: Select all

0 */6 * * */opt/filebot-node/task 1
I have in the crontab file.

Not working!
What have I done wrong?

Should it be just task?

or should it be run ?
