Re: bug: Dragging files from network shares does not work.
One more thing; if I drag'n'drop multiple files from SMB at once, only the first file appears in the (rename) list - I guess there's a loop missing, or only the first SMB:// is processed ?

Re: bug: Dragging files from network shares does not work.
Hi, you were right, after andre@Loke:~/Downloads$ sudo cp filebot-3.1-r1327-gvfs3.jar /usr/share/filebot/FileBot.jar it worked fine, both rename & subtitles drag'n'drop work great. There's one logged error, most likely a attribute that is not samba supported anyway. andre@Loke:~/Downloads$ fileb...

Re: bug: Dragging files from network shares does not work.
downloaded filebot-3.1-r1326-gvfs2.jar Unfortunatly it did not work… (I'll be back home in 6 hours - unable to test more till then) this is how the path really looks ,at least in terminal, with escaped spaces: /run/user/andre/gvfs/smb-share\:server\=odin2\,share\=episodes/0_INCOMING/Primeval\ New\ W...

Re: Download subtitles window too small (needs to be wider)
hi, regarding the SMB:// path , I guess you won't need access GIO if you just "translate" the file path, like I suggested in a recent post in that thread. regarding PPA, yes, that's the way to go, very nice - I guess you'll find all the info you need right here, and serverspace for free: h...

Re: bug: Dragging files from network shares does not work.
maybe you could add this logic: if path starts with "SMB://" replace "SMB://" with "/run/user/%username%/gvfs/smb-share\:server\=" replace text after thrird "/" with ",share\=" endif except for bugs,as this is just wery simple pseudo code, that would...

hi.
sorry, my bad, that was too early in the morning.
now that the yelling in this post made me awake,

Re: Download subtitles window too small (needs to be wider)
oops - that was @ work. (an Ubuntu 12.10 i386 , upgraded over long time)
Now I am at home, Ubuntu 12.10 x64 - re-downloaded filebot_3.1_amd64 , but still, the window have only one subtitle button , and fits fine. (missing the button number 2,3,4,5 from left.)

Please store path when picking files for subtitles search
As I am unable to drag'n'drop files to FB , (because it does not handle SMB:// paths) - I need to point the subtitles feature to the files each time. Please save/restore working path for subtitle search, just like you already do with the rename path. - you need only to save one path, the last used, ...

Download subtitles window too small (needs to be wider)
The download subtitles window is too narrow, - the "close" button is missings some of it's right side, and there's no "Download" button until the window is resized manually.

Re: bug: Dragging files from network shares does not work.
Hi, here's a way of translating the dropped file: "SMB://server/share/file" into proper gvfs path. - like /run/user/username/gvfs/smb-share\:server\=servername\,share\=sharename/file - or, with older linux: /home/username/.gvfs .... If you added this translation for ULI's that start with S...

Re: [REQ] - automatic subtitle fetching.
Or, maybe - the request should say "enable subtitles section to be a drop target" , then automatically search for the files that are dropped ?

When rename box sees new files, please make a quick button to check for suitable subtitles for that file.

bug: Dragging files from network shares does not work.
When I drag files into the Filebot from Nautilus (file manager on Ubuntu Linux) from a smb share, like: smb://server/share - then Filebot just ignores it.
However, if I point FileBot (using load button) to the gvfs mount for that share, it works fine.
