Utorrent script help please
Ok so a few things on this utorrent script are holding me back. I'm finally trying to get it working for me. 1. I'd really like the same file used for folder.jpg, poster.jpg and movie.tbn but I really don't know of an easy way to download it once and save it as all 3 filenames, help would be appreci...

Re: [NEW FEATURE] Series Alias / Override Series Detection
Ok, what about if you could let people have a file, preferably something with fields like a spreadsheet for filename title, dropdown box with the tv search engines you use, result name you'd like to get, db id (I'm just assuming they have this kind of feature like for imdb and tmdb). Let it be local...

[REQ] Default options in the gui
Rednoah, Long post, but hear me out please. So I'm pretty sure that this is going to seem like a clutter idea to you, since you can do what you need to do with scripting and things. There are some of us out there that can't seem to make our way through that world very easily though. In my opinion, t...

Re: [NEW FEATURE] Series Alias / Override Series Detection
I haven't waded into the waters of renaming my TV episodes yet. So far I've only done my movies, and even then only finished a few days ago, finally. Thank you for this program btw, even though I'm really only able to scratch the surface of it myself. I think one idea that might work, but would need...

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
I'm giving up for now, I need some sleep But I was thinking something like this: if (fanart.sizes() == 1) { return fanart.url.saveAs(outputFile)} return fanart.url.each().saveAs(outputFile) which I think would act normal if only one fanart found but if more than one would save the extras and then do...

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
I'm definately in over my head here, but I feel like I'm making progress. VERY SLOW progress, but ahead of where I started. I've changed def selection = [language, 'en', null].findResult{ l -> artwork.find{ (l == it.language || l == null) && it.category == category } } to this def selection ...

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
Yes, that new code did work for the folder I was trying, thank you! I haven't tried it on more yet, because it isn't quite set up the way I'd like yet. I was hoping you could help me with that. I commented out a few pieces I don't want and nothing seems to be broken so that's good. 1. I want poster....

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
I uninstalled 2.64 and installed 3 and the script does run now, but it can't find any of my movies :(. I'm assuming it's because of all the extra data in the folder name. Is there a way to get the query to reduce the clutter when searching or use the nfo that's in each folder to help it find the mat...

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
I was hesitant. I like what I have going with the version I have. I generally don't like upgrading any software until I need to. Guess I'll try it. Back to my number 2 question tho, (If I knew how to modify the script just for myself I would of course, but it's out of my league, and others might lik...

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
Alrighty, I guess I should have tried it out again before posting, but I do get a shorter amount of errors now. Tried filebot -script fn:artwork.tmdb "M:\Video\Movies Temp\High Res2\Click [2006] [Rated PG-13] [Voted 7] [IMDB tt0389860 ]" and got IllegalArgumentException: java.io.FileNotFou...

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
Yes, you are probably right, although my memory is very short. For future events though you may want to include the quote marks in the first line of the scripts to prevent other people from repeating the same mistake. I'm sure someone else is bound to fall for it, especially when it's late at night ...

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
So tonight I thought I would try the standalone artwork script out, because sometimes ember gives me hassles and it downloads TONS and TONS of covers, when I'm generally happiest with whatever is the main on tmdb. But I got a problem. And a question that still lingers for me. 1. I copy and pasted ho...

filebot 3.0 and 's
Maybe it's something on my end, but I just tried the newest jar and it seems any movie with an apostrophe in the title gets some extra characters thrown into it. Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead Turns into Don' -t Tell Mom the Babysitter' -s Dead Which can be fixed by throwing in...

Re: Support for Movie Series?
You probably already know, but for the movie nfo that goes at the bottom as <set></set> to be included in xbmc, just above the <fileinfo /> and </movie> tags

Re: [REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
1. I don't care about flat file structure. Besides, the artwork scripts only work a movie folder structure anyway. Ok, so I guess fanart.jpg it is then 1. and 3. Added lots of that stuff already over the past few weeks. It's in the SVN but won't be online till the next major release where everythin...

Re: Patchwork code for XBMC automation
This is true. XBMC can do all the heavy lifting of getting all nfo info and artwork and everything, but then it takes a while to do it. My main reason for wanting it locally in the folder with the movie was if xbmc ever crashes which only happened once so far for me, then you have to wait days for i...

[REQ] Artwork Scripting Change
I don't have the skills to pull something like this off, so I'm wondering if you could add it into the tmdb artwork scripts for xbmc and others I'm sure. Maybe if you wanted ### tagged out by default in case people don't want it, but I think it's a nice feature. 1. Change the backdrops that come fro...

Re: Patchwork code for XBMC automation
Actually it really should be fanart.jpg or <moviename>-fanart.jpg.
Check here for a pretty good guide (harder to find something official on this surprisingly):

text file renames
Alrighty. I'm going to throw this out there and see how far I get with it. I have a few hundred videos that were already renamed years ago with therenamer and so each has a text file in the folder with it that says the old name and the new name. I'm curious about getting the old names back first and...
