can filebot ignore Metadata in videos?

So I'm renaming my media. and the files are named correctly - Series - SXXE00 - Title. however random files are identified wrong. either the wrong series or the wrong season. and all i can figure is that it's reading metadata in the file. i saw a few posts on how to strip that metadata which seems to be a pain. (assuming thats the issue. but this has happened with several different series now.)

So is there a way to tell filebot to ignore the embedded Metadata?

or is there something else that could be causing this?

The file name will take precedence. My guess would be that the SxE in the file name doesn't exist in the database.

What does the console output say?

Here's a pic of the preview. it identified the last file correctly but not the previous ones in the season.

Ah. You're using the GUI. Screenshot is ok then. But you can press F7 to copy and paste debug information about all the matches.
