Portable version needs a license?

I thought I had read that no license was needed for the portable version. I used Windows Portable ZIP: FileBot_4.9.2-portable.zip and it's still asking for a license.
Really strapped for cash and would like to use your program.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it still asks.
Does it now require a license?
