Rename Error

Post by DasVON »

Hi,

I am using

Filebot 4.6
Windows 7 Pro x64
PIA VPN

I had a major issue and had to format and re-install windows ( i have my previous install on another partition is it possible to copy and replace some of the files ? )

When I try to rename a file I get a socket error ( see pic )
Image

I have found out that the issue might be my VPN as Filebot works fine when my VPN is disabled

Please help I am a complete noob at this

also is there a way to make the text bigger in the rename windows ?

any idea's will be very appreciated.....

1.
You could try forcing IPv4. See FAQ.

2.
You can't make the text bigger.

Tried this didn't work .. but if I disable the "Public Firewall" it works ( this is not a safe thing do ). I made inbound & outbound rules for the following files
  • filebot.exe
    filebot.launcher.exe
    filebot.platform.launcher.exe
not sure what to do now?

Any more idea's I can try :?

Thanks

Those *.exe files are just startup scripts. The real process is java.exe so you could try fixing your firewalls settings for that one as well.
