Java Error When Renaming Files

I'm using FileBot 4.7.7 on Windows 10 x64. When I click the "Rename" button, I get an error that says: "NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.sun.jna.Native."

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to fix that? If it makes any difference, this is a new install and I have Java 8 update 121 installed.

Thank you for the reply rednoah. I downloaded FileBot from SourceForge at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/filebo ... ot/LATEST/. Does that one not support Windows 10?

First of all, thanks for purchasing FileBot on the Mac App Store.

Unfortunately, transferring a Mac App Store license to the Windows Store is not possible. It'd be nice, but I don't think Apple and Microsoft will ever cooperate in this regard.

You probably installed 32-bit Java instead of 64-bit Java. See FAQ for details.

Your help is really appreciated.

That warning means that your filesystem doesn't support xattr:
viewtopic.php?t=324

xattr are supported by NTFS and some SMB services (if configured to support xattr).

Hi,
It's great that you are good at making new version of this incredible delicious program.
But in choosing to future versions can only run on a Windows 10 is not ok.

I and many other user has chosen not to upgrade to Windows 10. Since it is not good enough.

I have no problem in paying for your program. Just it can work on my Windows 7 (x64)
