Can you provide the full log and a set of sample files so I can reproduce the problem?

That is strange indeed. Please run filebot -script fn:sysinfo and post the output.

It's very strange. That error message would indicate that some files are simply missing from the installation, which shouldn't be possible because the Windows Store takes care of that, and I can't reproduce this issue with a clean install from the Store neither.

 Have you tried completely uninstalling FileBot and then re-installing it via the Store?

yes, and a reset and a repair, but i will try it again and turn off bitdefender, it has a habit of blocking files from being installed.

It's especially worrying that it can interfere with the Microsoft Store and it's local app repository, which uses special permissions so that neither users nor tools can interfere with things... ideally...

Strange indeed, but good to know that Bitdefender was the culprit here.

Thanks! That would be much appreciated. :)

Also, a review on the Microsoft Store for FileBot would be nice too, if you don't mind. *hint* *hint* ;)

Done, and I took a hit at the slugs who think 20$ is too much for this, you did this for free for a very long time, i had no problem paying for it.

Unsurprisingly, people just ain't happy if you "take away" their free stuff. But no worries. This one just can't be helped.
