4.8.5 gives trojan alert, 4.8.2 doesn't.

Hi
I bought your product. There was a link included to your path to download 4.8.5. It gives a trojan alert.
On your webpage I can download 4.8.2 which is clear.
You might want to look into it.

Probably a false positive. What software are you using? Is there a log or report you could copy and paste?
The 4.8.5 are updated with the latest revision once a week until the final release. You can check integrity via PGP digital signature.

I'm using bitdefender. Well could be but I just go save and use the old software
Already cleaned it so I am sorry I have no further information. Just that you know if others are reporting a problem..

4.8.2 is indeed the stable release that is currently used by the vast majority of users. I'd recommend using that. The 4.8.5 pre-release is just for testing, or users that need the latest revision for specific new features or bug fixes.

Ok, makes sense!
By the way the install .exe file is giving an alert but also if you ignore that and install it, the application itself gives an alert. The alert is more specific for the launcher as trojan malware. Also Norton does give an alert.
I hope filebot guys can fix this before release! See you
