Filebot is stuck on a different show

Post by itiswhatitis »

I'm trying to get metadata and artwork for the inferior Office. When I run the artwork script on the directory, it seems to be searching for a show that I have in a different directory. The artwork and metadata are indeed for The Future Diary. I tried clearing the cache, but no joy.

Code: Select all

~:  filebot -script fn:artwork.tvdb /mnt/other/series/The\ Office\ \(2001\)

Initialize new disk cache: /home/myuser/.filebot/cache/0
/mnt/other/series/The Office (2001) => Search by The Future Diary
Auto-Select [The Future Diary] from [The Future Diary, The Future is Wild, The Airport Diary, The Best Future, The Future is Wild (2007), Future Diary: Another World]
/mnt/other/series/The Office (2001) => The Future Diary
Generate Series NFO: The Future Diary [249827]
Fetching /mnt/other/series/The Office (2001)/poster.jpg => [poster/graphical/680x1000, en, 8.0, https://artworks.thetvdb.com/banners/posters/249827-3.jpg]

When I run it on the show's directory:

Code: Select all

~: filebot -script fn:xattr /mnt/other/series/The\ Office\ \(2001\)

Here's what I get:

Code: Select all

$ filebot -script fn:artwork.tvdb The\ Office\ \(2001\) -non-strict
The Office (2001)/Season 1 => Search by The Office 2001
The Office (2001)/Season 1 => The Office (2005)
Generate Series NFO: The Office (2005) [354368]
...

Code: Select all

tree .
.
└── The\ Office\ (2001)
    ├── Season\ 1
    │   └── The\ Office\ 1x01.mp4
    └── tvshow.nfo

2 directories, 2 files
:!: I note that The Office (2001) is named incorrectly, as it should be The Office according to the standard:
https://www.thetvdb.com/series/the-office

:idea: The artwork.* scripts require xattr metadata, and in the absence xattr metadata, perfect plex naming is expected:
rednoah wrote: 06 Jan 2012, 11:46 Episodes are expected to be organized into a standard {plex} structure already. The TV Show may be auto-detected from the file and the folder structure where Metadata and Extended Attributes are not readily available.

:arrow: I recommend creating a new empty file structure for testings, try different things, see what happens, figure out what makes it work, then figure out what's different with your actual files.
