FileBot Freezing

Post by imasnyper »

I just installed FileBot 4.6.1 via software centre on Ubuntu 15.10. At first I wasn't able to run at all, but quickly realized I just wasn't running the proper version of Java. That's fixed and the program (GUI) now runs, however, it freezes before I'm able to actually rename any files. Selecting the episodes tab causes it to freeze instantly, and it will freeze when I try to double click a folder from the load file dialogue of the rename tab. I can't even close the window, I'll have to kill it from a terminal with xkill. I looked through the FAQ and I couldn't see anything about freezing, only the previous issue of not loading. Thanks for any help!

1.
Is there any console output when it freezes?

2.
Have you tried running things with the Oracle JDK instead of OpenJDK?
 Please read the FAQ and How to Request Help.
