MOVE: AccessDeniedException: /volume1/video

Post by bmwrph »

Hello,

Been a long time user and just upgraded to Version 4.9

Am getting the above error now.

-Am using Mac , running Mojave 10.14.6
-Synology NAS 916+

movies

/volume1/video/MOVIES/NEW RELEASES/{n} ({y})/{n.upperInitial().space('.')}_({y})

Tv shows

/volume1/video/TV Shows/{n.upperInitial().space('.')}/{"Season ${s.pad(2)}"}/{n.upperInitial().space('.')} - {s00e00} - {t}

Went into DSM and both MOVIES and TV Shows folders have owner as "Admin"
MOVIES location shows: /volume1/video/MOVIES

Also tried : /Volumes/video/TV Shows/{n.upperInitial().space('.')}/{"Season ${s.pad(2)}"}/{n.upperInitial().space('.')} - {s00e00} - {t}
to no avail.

Never had any problems before. Love the product :)

Can you help?

Thanks

Chuck

Permission issues are generally unrelated to FileBot. If you have trouble figuring out Synology NAS permissions, just create a new pristine network share and then use that.

EDIT:

Are you running FileBot on the NAS device, or remotely from you Mac device? Because the destination path will obviously have to be adjusted accordingly.

FYI, a simple reboot fixed everything :)

Sounds like you're running the FileBot Desktop app on your macOS machine then. You'll need to use /Volumes/<share> because that's where macOS mounts network volumes and you may need to connect the network drive before using FileBot so that the /Volumes/<share> path exists.
