access denied error while trying to rename

i get an error stating access denied exception
i am new to filebot, just bought it and paid 13.99 on the app store
i am using mac mini with el capitan

Files on the local hard drive?

Files on an external storage device?

Files on a network share? If yes, does that network share use AFP or SMB protocol?



Sounds like a permissions issue, that can probably be fixed be fixing the permissions for the files/folders you want to process.
