I recently purchased Filbert for Mac. It´s working fine, except that it is not able to load the media info for the movies.
I get an error stating "Binding "vf" Failed to initialize media info Buffer".
I have updated to the latest java version with no luck.
Any ideas?
Unable to get media info on MacOSX El Capitan
Re: Unable to get media info on MacOSX El Capitan
This message indicates that MediaInfo can't read that particular media file. What's the full path of that file?DocOne wrote:Binding "vf" Failed to initialize media info Buffer
Have you tried with more than 1 single file and see if it's a general issue? Have you tried other files?

Thanks for the reply. It's the same with different types of movie files. Both avi and mkv

What's the full path of one of these files that don't work?

Re: Unable to get media info on MacOSX El Capitan
They are located on an external NTFS formatted harddisk.
F.ex.:
/Volumes/FILM primære harddisk 1/GI Joe The Rise of Cobra(2009)/GI Joe The Rise of Cobra-CD2(2009).avi
I tried copying the movie to my Mac harddrive and then Filebot is able to identify the media info.
So it seems the issue is with the files being on an external harddrive?

Re: Unable to get media info on MacOSX El Capitan
æ might be the issue here. There seem to be issues with unicode characters with libmediainfo on Mac.
Should be fixed with the next release.
