Unlocked folder state is not remembered

Post by Tournicoti »

MacOS 10.11.6, Filebot 4.7.11

Long time user I've noticed for about a week that Filebot asks me to "Drop 'em to Unlock" the same folder after each start of my computer.

I had to unlock folder only once, but since last week I have to unlock them repeatedly. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Filebot without success.

Any clue?

Thanks in advance.

I can't seem to reproduce the issue you describe with 10.12.5. Using the latest version of macOS is probably worth a try.

Also, make sure that you don't have any kind of "cleaner" software running that deletes application data. Because FileBot will store it's secure bookmark codes in the application preferences.
For example, if you were to delete ~/Library/Containers/net.filebot.FileBot then that would result in the issue you describe.
