Mediainfo unable to load on Synology NAS

Post by Cinder »

I have a Synology NAS (DS412+) and recently noticed that filebot is no longer correctly adding the video formats, {vf}, to filenames when processing (this has worked before).
When I check sysinfo I get this:

Code: Select all

FileBot 4.7.2 (r4178)
JNA Native: 4.0.1
MediaInfo: net.filebot.mediainfo.MediaInfoException: Unable to load amd64 (64-bit) native library libmediainfo.so: Unable to load library 'mediainfo': Native library (linux-x86-64/libmediainfo.so) not found in resource path ([file:/volume1/@appstore/filebot/FileBot.jar])
Apache Commons VFS: [zip, rar]
Chromaprint: 1.1.0
Extended Attributes: OK
Script Bundle: 2016-11-07 (r458)
Groovy: 2.4.7
JRE: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_101 (headless)
JVM: 64-bit Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM
CPU/MEM: 4 Core / 444 MB Max Memory / 16 MB Used Memory
OS: Linux (amd64)
Package: SPK
Data: /volume1/@appstore/filebot/data/root
uname: Linux DiskStation 3.10.77 #8451 SMP Wed Aug 17 05:12:45 CST 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux synology_cedarview_412+

I have so far uninstalled Java, Filebot and Mediainfo from DSM, and then reinstalled them (Unofficial Oracle Java, Filebot and Mediainfo - in that order), but no luck.
I have also downloaded the new mediainfo files from https://github.com/filebot/filebot/tree ... inux-amd64 but that changes nothing when I put them in /usr/local/mediainfo/lib which is also the path specified in filebot.sh. What should I try next?

I ended up reinstalling DSM due to another issue, and now MediaInfo works again.
Not a simple solution, but it might help someone without any other options left.
