About nfo file no include <year></year> question, help me please

Post by xiaobaitu2005 »

1. movie.nfo no include <year></year>, how can i add <year>y</year>, some tools need it, and how can auto export it. I have a long time think, but can't, help me please. Thanks.

2. Filebot only export movie.nfo, I need filename.nfo, how can i export it, and how auto export it. Filename.nfo and movie.nfo both need.

I think filebot is very useful, better than TMM. Tmm always to change hosts.

:?: How are you generating .nfo files? GUI? CLI? amc script?

1.
Unfortunately, you can't modify how FileBot generates .nfo files. The amc script does seem to generate <year> though, if possible.

2.
FileBot does not generate filename.nfo files and cannot be configured to do so.

 You could batch rename movie.nfo files to the name of the nearest video file in Plain File Mode like so:

Thanks.
FileBot generates .nfo files is GUI, and i see you "The amc script does seem to generate <year> though, if possible.", i do not understand. Can you tell me other simple way, very thanks.

The 2 question i can make it, "max{ it.length()" is very bright way, Way i can't think it.

Please tell me the simple way, <year>{y}</year> insert in nfo files. very very thanks. GUI,CLI is better.

I see. The Export NFO files post-processing feature in the GUI indeed does not generate <year> tags. There's nothing you can do on your end. I'll see about adding that for future revisions.

Not planned. FileBot will export the *.nfo file as movie.nfo and there is no plan to use different naming by default, or to have configuration options. You can always batch rename the *.nfo files as needed by yourself as illustrated in the link above.
