amc no such file exception error

Post by robfbot »

Hi,

All of a sudden my script that calls filebot is not working.

Multiple files have the following error
Failed to read xattr: NoSuchFileException:

I think its because filebot as its extracting is creating multiple subfolders and its just getting too long but am not sure.

Also not sure why its happening now?

Filebot version:

Code: Select all

FileBot 4.8.2 (r5789) / Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_111 (headless)
running on raspbian.

Code: Select all

filebot -script fn:amc --output "/media/storage/" --log-file amc.log --action move -non-strict "/media/storage/xi/TVShows" --def music=n --def ut_label=tv --def xbmc=192.168.3.12 --def clean=y --def extractFolder="/media/storage/extracted/" --def excludeList=amc.txt
Some examples of error:

1.
Please run filebot -script fn:sysinfo and post the output.

2.
You may ignore these xattr warnings. Presumably, you just happen to be running a platform that doesn't support xattr, or using a filesystem that doesn't support xattr. You can disable xattr (and thus get rid of these warnings) by using the -no-xattr option.

I see. You're on a Raspberry Pi, likely processing files on a remote network share. There's a good chance xattr doesn't work in this case, so you can either ignore the warnings or disable xattr.

thanks or quick response mate.

It is a raspberry pi, but the hdd is plugged directly into it, so not mounted or anything.

However, the real issue for me is that its just not extracting a bulk of the files and for the ones where there is an xattr error its because there is no file.

See sample below of a single file;

Code: Select all

Parameter: music = n
Parameter: ut_label = tv
Parameter: xbmc = 192.168.1.7
Parameter: plex = *****
Argument[0]: /media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr
Read archive [the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs.rar] and extract to [/media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr/the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs/tr]
Input: /media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr/the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs/tr
Failed to read xattr: NoSuchFileException: /media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr/the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs/tr
Failed to read xattr: NoSuchFileException: /media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr/the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs/tr
Failed to read xattr: NoSuchFileException: /media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr/the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs/tr
Failed to read xattr: NoSuchFileException: /media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr/the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs/tr
Group: [tvs:the resident] => [tr]
Rename episodes using [TheTVDB]
CmdlineException: No media files: [/media/storage/xi/TVShows/tr/the.resident.s01e14.web.x264-tbs/tr]
Finished without processing any files
Failure (°_°)

1.
Looks like the RAR archive is bad, or uses an incorrect RAR format. FileBot can only unpack "uncompressed" RAR files (as used by scene releases) but cannot uncompress RAR5 archives, so the archive will just appear empty to FileBot.

This limitation is specific to Apache Commons VFS extractor engine used on Linux / ARM machines where 7zip native bindings aren't available:

Code: Select all

Apache Commons VFS: [zip, rar]

2.
You could try using a different extractor, such as the 7z executable:
