Backdrops Location

Post by walkme70 »

I've noticed the application I use to view movies (media browser v2) the backdrops are not being view. After working out the issue I was wonder if there is any configuration for backdrops can be done in the command line for the AMC script.

The AMC script put them in a backdrops folder with the naming convention of backdrops-??.jpg.
I would rather put them in the root and called backdrop??.jpg, along with all the other files.

Any idea's apart from an external script.

The first backdrop should be in your movie folder, the rest is in the backdrops folder just to make things more clean.

If you need to change it you have to download and hack the amc/htpc scripts. Easy for programmers, but hard if you don't know what you're doing. ;)

PS: I think the the backdrops/backdrop-00.jpg path scheme makes the most sense. You can request the mediabrowser people to add it.

Thanks, I agree it's cleaner and also they're in the process of moving to a more client/server applications so no changes for MB2.
I'll do an post-script.
Thanks for your quick response as always. Keep up the good work...
