Movie Trailers

Post by clennys »

Hi. After searching this forum I found out the reason why the FileBot app I'm using is ignoring the trailer files but how do I include it in the naming scheme? I want it to match the movie file name with "-trailer" appended. I figured out how to do it for all the other small files like -poster, -banner, etc. But whenever I load a folder, the trailer file is always grayed out.

FileBot may not be able to process trailers by default in Movie Mode, depending on how the files are named. Trailers are generally ignored to make sure everything works well for the common case of processing movie files. Copying trailer files along as-is (without custom formatting) shouldn't be a problem though.

 Plain File Mode will work with any file, but also might not quite work the way you want since there won't be any movie auto-detection.

Have you tried the "import companion files" post processing action yet?
