Issue w/ 2 Parters in Episode scheming?

Post by pcwizard7 »

I like to suggest or have explained how to get around an issue? okay when renaming for TV Series the episodes that are two parters that are in one file.
It can't tell that which screws the rest of the order. I used a program to split it back into 2 parts and fix the episode numbing and run rename again

is there a way around this so i don't have to split the file and so it can tell its 2 parts in 1

thanks

Thanks for the post! Before a real human comes by, please make sure your report has all the following points checked:
  • What are you trying to do achieve? What's not working? What have you tried so far?
  • Include screenshots, logs or filenames (i.e. demonstrate the issue)
  • Include basic information (i.e. sysinfo output)

name your files like this:
Friends.S02E12-E13

in same season = OK
if episodes from 2 seasons you/we are out of luck... NO WORKY

Yeah, unfortunately, multi-episodes spanning multiple seasons, or not being in sequence, are not supported.

Again, actual example filenames that don't work would help me figure out a solution, if there is one. ;)
