OAP requires help

Post by fallex »

Hope somebody can help this oldtimer.
Having come across this great piece of software which seems ideal for my needs, I have a huge collection of tv series that I have converted from my dvd collection to enable me to store them all on my multimedia hard drive system. (just run out physical space) All I want to do is end up with the following simple naming convention to be shown:-

E01 episode name
E02 episode name
and so on

I,ve gone through the postings in the forum and I have found it almost impossible to understand (my learning ability is not what it once was) how to format a script to do this, and if I had one how would I then use it.

I wonder if somebody would be kind enough to:
1/ write a script to enable me to achieve the naming convention I require.
2/ an idiots guide to instruct me on exactly how to use the script.

Also a question I have is this:- assuming I was lucky enough to get the script and instructions, can filebot process multiple series/folders at once? this was another thing I couldn't work out.
My apologies if these requests and questions seem basic but I don,t want to screw anything up.

Really appreciate any help I can get.

Apologies if this post is in the wrong section.

1. Format would be something like this:

Code: Select all

{n}/Season {s}/E{e.pad(2)} - {t}
2. Watch watch the video tutorial. You can just drag in lots of episode files and it'll figure it out.
:idea: Please read the FAQ and How to Request Help.
