"Looney Tunes: Golden Collection" Problematic

Hello,

I'm trying to index the Disk 2 of "Looney Tunes: Golden Collection Vol. 1"
This is not an easy task since it is not supposed to exist on TheTVDB as you can deduce by readying the last result of this search: http://thetvdb.com/?string=looney+tunes ... ion=Search

As I found out by reading this thread on the Plex forums, the correct way to organize this rips is to order them with Season=Year, as you can find in the Looney Tunes TheTVDB page: http://thetvdb.com/?tab=seasonall&id=72514&lid=7

I was wondering if it would reasonable to use the episode names to index these rips by year as they appear in the TVDB page, ignoring the order and folder name the episodes exist in the rips of each DVD disk of the Golden Collection.

Is this case the folder name also doesn't help:

Basically to treat all the episodes in the argument as part of the same group "Looney Tunes" and organize them in Year folders.

These names are way to ambiguous for AMC. Why not use the GUI?

FYI matching by title works, but is not allowed to override SxE matches like 201 => 2x01

How can you give --q in the GUI? When I press TheTVDB it only lets me pick between 2 Duck Dodges options.

Command line works without the episode number, but it fails otherwise. Guess there is no way to force this further..

I wish there was a file I could place inside strange series folders which would fix those folders for filebot. For example I would create a filebot.txt with "Looney Tunes" or "thetvdb=72514" inside and filebot would force the tvshow to the exact name or thetvdb id.
The idea would be that if you had to scan again your library later, those folders would be automatically correctly indexed, instead of having to fix earch strange dir manually.

lol, I was considering writing a topic about this one...

I've also been working through a Looney Tunes myself. It seems to match everything with 'year as season', and if the file names include the episode title, running it through the GUI seems surprisingly effective. Just scan the whole 'Looney Tunes' folder you've got the episodes in, selecting the source as theTVdb, but make sure you hold down shift - and wherever prompted, just type in 'Looney Tunes'.

Managed to get almost all of them (with the exception of a few that still have their "politically incorrect" name or were banned/buried/forgotten about intentionally by WB for the profound racism they possesses).

The end result should look something like this:

For those shitty ones you should probably just drag over the whole Episode list from Episodes. If both episodes and files are sorted it should line up correctly.
