I get this on OS X Mavericks. Any ideas what to do?

Simply go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General

then click the lock in the bottom corner, put in your administrator password, and select Allow apps downloaded from "Anywhere". Be aware that the security of your machine will be reduced following this method.

This was tried and tested on Mavericks and may not be 100% the same as an older version but it should be similar steps.

For Windows users, you might run into a similar issue - just right click the individual files in the install directory one at a time (naimly filebot.jar), click properties, and then click 'unblock'.

If you download a new/updated filebot.jar, you'll need to unblock it again.
