Subtitle Rename and Movies Cover

Good morning,

I am using you program for a long time and it is great. Saved me a lot of time in the process of organizing my files. Thanks for that.

I have 2 requests for you (1 in renaming and the other I think totally not in the scope of your program, but worth trying to ask).

1. I am renaming Subtitles not in the same name of the file, but adding a . language part at the end. Living in Greece I am adding a .Greek in the subtitles file. Foe example, the file mymove.avi have a subtitle mymove.Greek.srt. This way mediaportal (that I am using) understand that is a Greek Subtitle and plays it. Is it possible to add a specific string at the and of renaming process for subtitles only? I would be great. imdb is a source for your tool, downloading picture from there would be great.

2. In the process of organizing my movies, I am finding the cover image for the movie and copy in the same folder with the same name as the movie. I know that there are some tools "out there" that can do that. I am wondering if you could add a function like that in your tool. This way I could use one program to rename and finalize my files.

Thank you in advance

1. Check the naming scheme examples here in the forums. One of the movie formats does exactly what you want.

2. Check the artwork.* scripts. They are designed to fetch artwork according to XBMC naming conventions. There's no GUI for that but running the script to fetch missing artwork is easy enough.

It's really just:

Code: Select all

filebot -script "fn:artwork.tvdb" -trust-script "/path/to/TV Shows/"
