Yep, that'll be good. I'll pimp it again after class and tune for xmbc output. Gonna check that readLine() what's wrong with that. Sorry but it so made sense with saying it just stops. haha sry ;)

Awesome! Not been to Xinjiang, Tibet and Yunnan. But I've been hear for a year and half so I've seen lots of places, but of course I can get out backpacking in the holiday... :/ Anyway, Spring Festival coming up so I'll be less active here mid-Jan to mid-Feb. ;)

Got lots of ideas related to metadata / artwork. Should be able to finish that up by tomorrow.

Guilin-Lijiang
Wulingyuan (Zhangjiajie) -THIS ONE IS A MUST..FAV PLACE IN CHINA
The Leshan Giant Buddha
Tibet (if you can make it)
Kunming

Really Epic places..it was 8 years ago but i still think (and hope) they all stayed the same..damm i should plan my next trip though 2 small kids kinda interfere with that ;-)

Added lots of internal stuff to the scripting framework and uploaded r783.

Updated banners.groovy as well:
* create xbmc tvshows.nfo / xml
* auto-detect "series vs series" folder and place artwork accordingly
* fetch artwork multi-threaded

signing off, 晚安

The script will respect the --q option now. Other than that it should figure things out by itself.

hya again

the -q option works really well :)
there is a problem though with the normal auto detection. since the tv shows are under a series name folder and then season 1 etc it always defaults to searching season 1 as the series name:

Failed to detect series name from video files -> Query by Season 1 instead
Fetch nfo and banners for Formula 1 Season Review / Season 1
NullPointerException: java.lang.NullPointerException
Failure (°_°)

is there any way around this? im no that into formula 1 racing..lol ;-)^^

i would love to auto use the script for my ~150 TV shows and using the -q option only when needed :)

best

P.S again you have no idea how powerfull the banner script youve created is lol..this is seriously gonna rock the xbmc froums once ready for mass consumption :)

Updated banners.groovy to better auto-detect your structure and fixed that NPE problem (probably 'caused by the tvdb info record missing some required info).

hehe im sorry to be annoying, it works great now..BUT..it puts all images/nfo in the season1 folder now instead as the correct way it was it the prev version of the script...ill shut up for the rest of the day..promise :)

New scripts for movies and tv shows (artwork.*.groovy)
http://filebot.sourceforge.net/scripts/
(requires r803)

Btw no need to keep old versions yourself, it's all checked into version control:
