μtorrent by default marks downloaded files as read-only. What I'd like from filebot is when copying videos using the amc script (perhaps an option) to not copy the read-only flag.
Also you should probably check if a video is set as read-only before trying to set xattr.

Windows has no such thing as a read-only flag. If anything, there's NTFS ACLs and FileBot doesn't apply those to new copies AFAIK.

Does the destination filesystem support xattr? NTFS does support xattr. FAT does not. If you're using a network share then it depends on the SMB implementation and configuration but it's usually disabled by default (it works fine on my Synology NAS though).

Fixed with r4975. It'll now enable write permissions (if possible) before adding xattr metadata.
