Suspicious File Blocked

Hello,

I've been using FileBot for a long time (execellent software, btw), and I have never had any problems updating its version. But with this last version 3.6 my antivirus is blocking the download, saying that it has a suspicious file. I am using the free avast antivirus and the message I get is as follows (I tried with both x86 and x64 alternatives):

avast!
SUSPICIOUS FILE BLOCKED

avast! Web Shield has blocked a harmful webpage or file.

Object: http:/.../FileBot_3.6_x86.msi|FileBot.cab|file
Infection: Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\...\chrome.exe

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Luis Fernando

You downloaded it from sourceforge.net right? Then it's fine. Redownloaded the latest release and scanned with Security Essentials and it doesn't say anything.

It's just another false positive I guess:

Just tell avast to shut up and ignore that one.

Nothing I can do about Avast detection messing up. You can try with their support and have them add it to their whitelist or something.
