[Feature] Music Videos / Concerts support

Post by verysofttoiletpaper »

XMBC supports Music Videos and Concerts via http://www.theaudiodb.com/

Would it be feasible to add a new section to filebot?

Cheers

Possibly, but I have neither time/funding to build nor maintain/support completely new features like that. ;)

How much would it be necessary? Lets crowdfund!

The first thing would be to collect some example paths and look how these things are named.

* If I can rely on tags or something it's great
* But I doubt music videos are tagged so it'll have to somehow get from the filename to the data on TheAudioDB

I guess there'll be even less of a "system" then with movie naming. Making things exponentially more difficult and eternal work-in-progress (kinda like AMC :P).

PS: Also my computers motherboard and/or video card died. So there won't be any updates for a while.

The concerts I got so far are these:
Hiromi.Solo.Live.at.Blue.Note.2010.DVDRip.x264-HANDJOB.mkv
Hiromi.Live.in.Concert.2009.DVDRip.x264-HANDJOB.mkv
Hiromi - Jazz in Marciac 2010.ts

I guess this would be very hard indeed.
The fist one is on http://www.themoviedb.org/translate/mov ... anguage=en and is was successfully cataloged as a movie, the other two, not so much. I guess an option to force an output folder, or a label to force concert would be the best option, because these are actually DVD releases and are not on TheAudioDB..
