Links to non series (workout videos or any other)

Hi,
I want to create symlink copy to a directory structure with video files. These are not series. Some files would have a number in front, others would have a day of the week.
I am lost on how to do this since I can not rely on any of the databases (searches and doesnt find anything). Appreciate if somebody has some tips.
