Hawaii Five 0 - Failed to match files to episode data

Post by Tyree »

I've had these scripts running for a long time, now, for whatever reason, it says it can't match the files to episode data.

Code: Select all

C:\Windows\system32>filebot -rename "D:\Media Temp\PlayOn Recordings\Hawaii Five-0" -r -non-strict --conflict override --db TheTVDB --format "F:\TV\PlayOn\Current\Favorites\Hawaii Five-0\{'Season '+s}\{n} - {s00e00} - {t}"
Rename episodes using [TheTVDB]
Auto-detected query: [hawaii five 0]
Failed to fetch episode data: [hawaii five 0]
Failed to match files to episode data
Failure (°_°)
Here's the script itself, same as above from the cmd window:

Code: Select all

filebot -rename "D:\Media Temp\PlayOn Recordings\Hawaii Five-0" -r -non-strict --conflict override --db TheTVDB --format "F:\TV\PlayOn\Current\Favorites\Hawaii Five-0\{'Season '+s}\{n} - {s00e00} - {t}"
The episodes are definitely listed on tvdb:
https://www.thetvdb.com/series/hawaii-five-0/seasons/10

Any ideas?

Here's where PlayOn records to:

Code: Select all

D:\Media Temp\PlayOn Recordings\Hawaii Five-0\Season 10\Hawaii Five-0 - s10e01 - Ua 'eha ka 'ili i ka maka o ka ihe.mp4
Here's where FileBot moves the files to (Network Location):

Code: Select all

F:\TV\PlayOn\Current\Favorites\Hawaii Five-0\Season 9\Hawaii Five-0 - S09E25 - Hana Mao 'ole ka ua o Waianae.mp4
Here's the output of sysinfo:

Code: Select all

FileBot 4.7.9 (r4984)

------------------- UPDATE AVAILABLE: FileBot 4.8.5 (r6224) --------------------

Done ?(?????)?
Says there's an update. Is that still for the non-windows 10 app version?

Yes, looks like you're using an outdated version, which might explain why things don't work as expected:

Code: Select all

FileBot 4.7.9 (r4984)
This is for the MSI installed package:

Code: Select all

Package: MSI

 Uninstall all versions of FileBot that you may have installed, and then only install FileBot via the Microsoft Store (assuming that you have purchased FileBot on the Microsoft Store) or via the download link received via Paddle (if you have purchased FileBot via Paddle).

No. I don't buy anything from the MS store. :-/ Guess that's why I'm using an older version.

Okay, went ahead and got the latest version from MS store. Seems to have worked other than one little "Resource not found" in it. And then the xattr errors at the end??? Still appears to have worked, though.

Code: Select all

D:\Media Temp\PlayOn Recordings>filebot -rename "D:\Media Temp\PlayOn Recordings\Hawaii Five-0" -r -non-strict --conflict override --db TheTVDB --format "F:\TV\PlayOn\Current\Favorites\Hawaii Five-0\{'Season '+s}\{n} - {s00e00} - {t}"

Just a few warnings that tell us what's happening in case things don't work as expected.

You can read up on xattr here in the forums. Presumingly, the target filesystem doesn't support xattr, so you get warnings.
