About keeping Artwork/Cover with Music

Post by Silke79 »

Is there a script code that will allow somehow to keep/move Artwork/Cover when renaming ones music folders if they exist already with the folder so one don't have to do this manually afterwards?
Could not find anything about it more then Bliss, but then it's possible that I used the wrong search words when looking.

What i'm using at the moment.

Code: Select all

Music/{n}/{album} {[y]}/{pi.pad(2)+'. '} {t} {[kbps]}

Your custom format expression is conceptually unrelated to dealing with extra files in the same folder, so there's no much you can do there.

You might be interested in post-processing features though:

OK, after some looking around I see that my version is only FileBot 4.9.1 (r7372) and I run it on Win 10, so my question is how do you update it to the latest version so I can get in and do this changes you list in the other link?
Or do I need to buy it again or just reinstall it to get the latest update?

If you have purchased a universal license, then you can try the latest beta:

If you have purchased via the Microsoft Store, then you'll need to wait for the next stable release, or use what is currently available. Running FileBot 4.9.1 (r7372) you can just process files as usual, and then click on FilterAttributesImage ApplyImport companion files to copy along extra files.

Some post-processing features can be applied to an existing set of files via AttributesImage Apply assuming that xattr metadata is readily available.
