just purchased a new License and every time i try to activate it i keep getting a License error, any advice please?

What does the license error say? What does the log say? What OS are you using? How did you install FileBot? Are you using the GUI, or the CLI, or FileBot Node? How are you activating your license?

error - License Error with file location and license,txt at the end
using windows 10 x64
i installed filebot from the link given to me when renewing the license. i tried copying the text file and also selction the license file and obtain the same error both time

Try to delete the license.txt file in the FileBot application data folder first. If the file is read-only for some reason, that would explain why FileBot can't override it with the new license data.

Hello, i had to reinitialize my PC today. Can't get to find my license despite my searches.

Unfortunately, there is no purchase under that email address. If you can't remember your order number or email address, then you will have to contact Paddle with your name and payment details so they can look up your order number.

Thanks. I finally found my purchase in my Microsoft account. I reinstalled from Microsoft store.

I checked. That email wasn't used either. I've you've used your Credit Card for payment, then I maybe be able to look up your order by name. Please PM me your name.

What browser are you using? Have you tried the latest Chrome / Firefox / etc? Can you take a screenshot of the crash report?
