Remove text from filename

Hi All,
I'm very new to Groovy scripts but have got filebot renaming most of my files. The only issue files have some text preceeding the episode name such as "1-3-3-8.com_the.killing.s02e04.hdtv.xvid-fqm.avi" and I would like to have a list of these known text and have the script remove them if found before completing the rest of the renaming script.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
