Getting filebot error after update to 4.7.8 Win7?

Post by thermalzombie »

Hi today I updated to 4.7.8 and cannot rename files when I search for filenames they appear as red and when I click rename I get an error.

Sorry if this is not exact the error message disappears real quick.

ERROR: NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class.com.sun.jna.platform.win32.shellapi$SHFILEOBSTRUCT

Everything else seems to work only cannot rename files.

Not sure if I was always using the 64bit version but I noticed I have 64bit filebot and 32bit java no idea if this is the issue or how to fix this can I have 64bit and 32bit of java installed at same time java website recommends 32bit java for win7.

Thanks for the awesome software hope you can tell me how to fix this.

Thanks.

EDIT: Fixed it downloaded 32bit version from sourceforge the download from filebot website must have of removed 32bit version and installed 64bit version.

You need 64-bit Java and 64-bit FileBot. See FAQ for details.
