Age filter not working as it should

I've read through this forum a lot and found this filter

--filter "age < 7 || !model.any{ it.age < 7 }"

apparently it should try to look for recent episodes and if nothing found use any.
But I've already had multiple shows that I downloaded that just never find any matching shows.

Is my filter wrong or does it not work for anime?
I use the latest filebot beta btw.

You can use the -list command with the same --filter for debugging purposes so you'll see which episodes are included / excluded based on a given filter.

When using -list it's also useful to add --format "{age} {episode}" so you can see what values were working with.

My first guess would be that nobody has entered the episode airdates for these episodes yet on AniDB, and thus error out, which would explain why it doesn't work.

I also looked at anidb and they have set airdates.

I can reproduce the problem with -list -non-strict:

Since it works without -non-strict it's one of the other shows:

Unfortunately, if there's many potential episode matches from many shows, and the lost one is really old and missing data.

Oddly enough, and I'm dumbfounded myself, it seems that Groovy thinks that null < 7 is true which screws our model.find{ it.age < 7 } condition.

So the solution is an explicit null check:

I've updated the docs with this --filter which implicitly deals with null values correctly (i.e. the way we want):
