Error renaming TV files

Post by reecious »

Hello!

Been using filebot for a while now, never really had a problem. This may be a bit of a newbish question but I've scouted the boards and am unable to find an answer to this problem. Movies work fine, however TV shows are becoming quite an issue. I've used both Ani database and all the TV possible ones but everytime it searches the episodes try to get renamed with '()'. There's a yellow triangle with an '!', and also the episodes are highlighted, when hovering over them the actual name of the show appears, the tv show is also highlighted Red.

Send me the filenames so I can try it myself. Otherwise I wouldn't know how to help you. ;)

It doesn't matter what the TV show is, it does it to them all. They come up Red... Filebot has found the name, if you scroll through the TV episodes they appear, but it's trying to rename them with a '()'.

I don't know what you mean. Are you taking about the naming scheme?

Plz send me screenshots of Rename panel and Format Editor.

Yes, that seems to be the format you entered. This is your current episode format:

Code: Select all

()
(you entered that, don't ask me why :P)

This is the kinda of episode format you wanna use:

Code: Select all

{n} - {s00e00} - {t}

PS: I'm 99% sure you haven't bothered watching the video tutorial.
