Change default episode format to not include series name

Post by ScottNY845 »

Hello All:

Question for the group....the old Filebot used to rename the files without the shows name in the format...it was just SEASON/EPISODE and now it also has the show's name....Is there anyway to change the setting so we can remove that NAME from the renamed section so it goes back to only the Episode season and show #?

I am including a pic of what is now, and what I would like to go back to...

Image

Thanks
Scott

I have no idea what you want, but the answer is yes, because FileBot Formats can do anything:
https://www.filebot.net/naming.html

Presumably, you're asking for a custom format such as this?

Code: Select all

{sxe} - {t}
The default format, unless changed by you, will give you {s} - {sxe} - {t}, and that has always been the case and has never been changed.
