manually Movie Matching not working/ recognise Multiparts?

Post by Elamania »

Hey,
nice program you have here.

But I think I found a bug.

There are some Movies not recognised and I had no idea how to match them.
In an Sticky you describe to use SHIFT, but well. it´s not working for me. And yes, I watched the video.

I am holding SHIFT right click and then TheMovieDb, but no prompt appears.
I am right clicking holding SHIFT and then TheMovieDb, but no prompt appears.

The only thing that changes is that more Entries are recognised :O

2nd)
If some TV Shows are not matched I can use the Episode Tab.
But what do I have to do if an Show has external SUbs? Because in the Episodes I only get one Entry for one Episode, but what if I also have to rename the Subs? Can I copy those Entries?

3.)
It seems that Multiepisode detection is not working properly.

If I am using {" CD$pi"}
I have that:
http://postimg.org/image/9dym9yw1h/
Why is it assuming that it has two Parts?

And here:
[Shayo]_Ichigo_100%_07_&_08_h264_[E63CCBF6]
Utena e01-05Xvid DVDRip jap-dub ger-sub CD01 [AST4u-Xvid-Crew]

I have read viewtopic.php?f=6&t=89 that it only allows a predefined format.
But Utena seems to be in that format, why is it then not recognised?
And I wanted to rename Ichigo in "List" but I don´t get how to make an arithmetic expression for {i*2}

Anyone can help me with that please?

Win10@64bit, newest Filebot

btw: Is something not working with anidb these days? I often get an connection time out or "episodes not found" under the Episodes Tab.

1.
Did you mean LEFT-CLICK while holding down SHIFT? Because RIGHT-CLICK doesn't do anything.

2.
I'd first you rename the episode files. Then you use the renamed episode files as template (i.e. drop them into "New Names" list) to rename the subtitles files. Also, you can drop in the episode data multiple times as you yourself suggested.

3.
If you have the same movie multiple times then {pi} won't work correctly. You may use fn.match() instead but that again has it's own set of issues depending on your exact use-case.

@see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=806

{pi} is NOT useful if you have 1-file-2-episodes and is only useful for 2-files-1-movie cases.

You want multi-episode support for badly named files, which is generally not supported, especially for Anime. If {s00e00} doesn't give you a multi-episode number then FileBot doesn't recognise it as such in the first place, hence no binding that holds that information.

If you try to rename Ichigo_100%_1x07x08 using TheTVDB then it should work. Multi-Episode Anime are generally not supported.

Jup, that´s what I mean.
Nothing is happening, no prompt to enter the Movies Name for me..... :(

2.)
Yeah, but how do I add only one Episode of an Show? I am only able to drop the whole Show into the New Names List.

3.)
Thanks going to rename them manually vial "List" first.
btw.: What is the difference if i rename em via "List" or via New Names pattern?
And what do I have to do to name the files in "list" to s01e01-e02, how to make 2* {i} ?

So.... is there anything wrong with the anidb Scrapper at the moment?
As I wrote, since an week most Shows are not recognised.

Eg.:
Hyouka, works
Gundam Seed Destiny -> select show -> gundam seed destiny -> no episodes found
Steins; Gate -> Select Steins; Gate:Soumei Eichi... -> no episodes
Hachimitsu & Clover -> select Hachimtsu.... -> no episodes
.......Any many more
Anything wrong at the moment?

2.
Select, Copy, Paste.

OR

Drop, and then Delete everything you don't want.

3.
Depends on what you're trying to do. I'd have a look at this first:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2072

AniDB seems to work fine here. Maybe you're temporarily banned? No clue. Just stop bombarding the API with requests for a week and see if it makes a difference. You can always see the requests using the Fiddler tool.

Well, I was two days not online and nothing changed.

I doubt that it has something todo with a ban.

I am able to fetch every Steins; Gate except the Soumei.
I am able to fetch Hachimitsu & Clover II but not Hachimitsu & Clover I...

So, would be an strange ban...

And those two are working for you?

If I have German Sentences in files like (Das or Der) they are recognised as the Group, any way to overcome that?

I have no idea. Use Fiddler to see the requests.

Keep in mind that FileBot caches all AniDB data for 2 weeks. So you can't fetch new data, but FileBot can still give you all the data it's already got in it's local cache.

Ahhhh, okay yeah then it´s possible...
Fiddler ist not working here, but going to check it with Wireshark.

If I want the Language and SubtitleLang, but it dowsn´t recognise it. How can I properly fetch it from the Filename?
Eg.: Silver Spoon 15 [Jap-Dub][Ger-Sub][Web-Rip], here is texts and languages undefined.

I tried: {detectAudioLang ={def res=""; fn=~/ger|Ger|GER[ ._-]Dub/ ? res+= "Ger" : fn=~/jap|Jap|JAP[ ._-]Dub/ ? res+="Jap" : fn=~/eng|Eng|ENG[ ._-]Dub/ ? res+= "Eng" : null};null}
Is there an better and easier way todo that?

Btw:...Manual Movie Matching is still not working....There is just no prompt.

1.

Code: Select all

{"Silver Spoon 15 [Jap-Dub][Ger-Sub][Web-Rip]".match(/(Ger|Jap)-Sub/)}
2.
If Win10 is somehow "eating" the SHIFT modifier then you can try using ALT instead.

Well, this is not working either.

Just tried it on Win8.1.
When I try to match an Movie I am getting automatically an prompt if it´s not well named And I am able to use Shift.

But Win10 neither Shift and ALT are working.
And of course no automatical prompt.

I've just set up a Windows 10 machine for testing. Testing with the latest Java/FileBot and the SHIFT/ALT + CLICK trick works just fine here.

I guess Java for Windows 10 still has some rough edges. Make sure that you're using the latest update.

Okay, thanks.
Just downloading Update 60...

Do I have to do anything special to check if a Language is there?
If I check
texts ? : it´s working

But if I want to check if there is an Language I get problems.
I tried:
{(audios.language.equals(null)||audios.language=="undefined"||audios.language.equals("undefined")) ? "nix": fn.match(/(jap|Jap)[ ._-]Dub/) ? "[Jap-Dub]" : "fail"}
But I am not getting an result.
Unlike to texts audios.language is undefined while texts is ...blank.

You could use the MediaInfo view in Bindings Dialog to see the data. Then you can see which properties are defined and which are not. It may be different for different files depending on the tags in the container.

You can't use "undefined" though. That's a String with value "undefined", not null/undefined. :D

audios.language is short for audios*.language so the result is a List of values, not a single value.

e.g.

Code: Select all

{audios.language.join('-')}

Regarding the SHIFT-click thing to force a match, it doesn't work in Win 7 either. Once upon a time it did. I'm using v4.7.9, and just updated Java after reading this thread.

ALT-click can't work since pressing ALT makes the popup window go away. Pressing it first then going through the other motions doesn't work either.

Can you make it an actual labeled visible menu option instead of relying on some Java trickery that may or may not work? Allowing us to type in an IMDb ID to match against would be cool too, since Filebot still mismatches titles like Death.Race.2050.2017.720p.BluRay.H264.AAC-RARBG and Blade.Runner.2049.2017.720p.BluRay.H264.AAC-RARBG even though you'd think it would fail and stop to ask because neither of the 4-digit numbers in the title matches the actual release year (2008 and 1982).

1.
I'm fairly sure that it works. Then again, I only test FileBot on Windows 10 myself. Please just try all the modifier keys on your keyboard and keep them pressed while selecting a database.

2.
If you manually search for "Death Race" then you'll get the right result. I can't think of a case where the IMDB ID would be necessary (as you would Google the name anyway just to find out the IMDB ID).

If you want FileBot to ignore matches that can't be reliably confirmed, then you can use Strict mode instead of the default Opportunistic mode:

1. It doesn't want to work for me, and my preset uses "Strict". I only use FileBot on Windows 7.

SHIFT

CTRL

2. If (1.) worked, (2.) wouldn't be necessary. Maybe something could be tweaked for this rarity when there are multiple matches of 4 digits in a movie filename? Blues.Brothers.2000.1998 matches fine, but Blade Runner 2049 and Death Race 2050 don't.

Alright, I've run a few tests on the examples you've provided:

Code: Select all

$ filebot -rename . --db TheMovieDB --action TEST
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [Blade.Runner.2049.2017.mp4]
Auto-detect movie from context: [Death.Race.2050.2017.mp4]
[TEST] from [Blade.Runner.2049.2017.mp4] to [Blade Runner 2049 (2017).mp4]
[TEST] from [Death.Race.2050.2017.mp4] to [Death Race 2050 (2017).mp4]
Processed 2 files
Looks like this particular use case has been fixed already for newer versions of FileBot.

Shift-Left Click doesn't work on Mac either... Shift-Right Click is the same as just Right Click.
Could you please fix that? Right now there is no way to manually correct the mis-matched ones.

Depending on your macOS keyboard settings, the modifier key you have to press might be different. Try the remaining 3 modifier keys. One of them will work for you.

EDIT:

I double-checked on MBP 2018 / macOS Big Sur / default built-in keyboard and modifier mappings. It works as documented out of the box. Both SHIFT + Right-Click and OPTION + Right-Click can be used to force manual query input.

EDIT 2:

Note that by default Right-Click == Secondary Click == Two-Finger-Tap. So if Right-Click doesn't work for you then you'll want to double-check the corresponding Trackpad and Mouse settings as well.

I am using the default built-in keyboard and modifier settings. Still nothing.
My mouse is Magic Mouse 2 and it is right-click enabled. No other special settings. Shift + Right Click and Option + Right Click are both the same as a mere Right Click.
I wonder if a separate button in the GUI would be better. Modified key + Click is too deeply hidden.

IDK. I've never used a Magic Mouse. Can't reproduce any issues with built-in Trackpad and normal mice. Seems to work for everyone else, so I'm out of ideas there.

EDIT:

Can you confirm that Secondary Click is fundamentally enabled in your system settings? IDK if it's enabled or disabled by default for Magic Mouse:

That's the efficient way. The intuitive way is doing a manual search in Episodes panel and then passing selected episodes back to Rename panel, or Double-Click ➔ Edit Match to fix individual matches case by case.
