My main HD got corrupted and it affected the operating system. I needed to install a new HD and new OS.
I had custom formats for movies and tv shows based on a lot of digging through forums and putting various strings together (i.e. collection, verision/edition, IMDB ID #, resolution, audio track, etc.).
Is there a way to extract the filebot format used on a title which was previously edited? If not, I will just need to refigure everything out.
Is it possible to extract previous formatting from files after new OS install

Yes, FileBot will export all your settings (from the Windows Registry; assuming you're using Windows) once per month into a file named preferences.backup.xml in the %APP_DATA%/FileBot (assuming you're using the MSI package) folder.
See Q: Where is the application data folder? How do I backup my settings? How do I restore my settings? for details.
