Wrong Series recognition

Post by xadox »

After upgrading to v2.62 I have an issue with the series recognition.
If I drag&drop 10 files into the gui, each of the ten files is from a different series. Every file will be recognised as the series from the first file.

So I have draged one file after another into the gui to rename the files.

I'll check that. Your folder/file paths would be helpful for testing.

I mean like full paths of all files. That way I can recreate that in my test data.

This works:

Code: Select all

E:/testdata/Mixed/

Code: Select all

Have you got your files on your root? Like D:/file.avi? Maybe that messes up parts of the fuzzy logic.

It's an unexpected side-effect. Not sure why. But my test case works fine.

Works for me, in this case anyway:
E:\the.colbert.report.2012.01.11.hdtv.xvid-fqm.avi
E:\freaks.and.geeks.s01e01-vrs.avi
E:\gary.unmarried.s01e02.720p.hdtv.x264-ctu.avi
E:\My.Name.Is.Earl.S04E03.PROPER.HDTV.XviD-NoTV.avi
Send me all your paths so I can have a look.

Hmm somehow it is not working from any path. I get always the wrong result.
The screenshot shows the result for d:\, d:\extract, d:\temp, c:\, c:\temp

FileBot probably, can't make sense of the last file. Deep Space 9? Hell, I can't make sense of that. :P So it'll assume it's part of the same set as the other files that it can make sense of.

Hmm, it seems that it has something to do with the filename. With different files it was working today.
