RAR is now supported (to a degree) by a pure-Java implementation. No support for password protected RARs though.


Rednoah witch one do i download to update my release im a bit confused now im running it in a synology 1813+ , Intel atom , can u tell me witch one to download from that repository ???

never mind , copied the Filebot.jar to the Filebot Folder and it works , only had to reset cache


Synology-1813> filebot -clear-cache
Clear cache and temporary files
* Delete /volume1/@appstore/filebot/data/*****/cache
* Delete /volume1/@appstore/filebot/data/*****/temp
Synology-1813> filebot -script fn:sysinfo
FileBot 4.6.1 (r3200)
JNA Native: 4.0.0
MediaInfo: MediaInfoLib - v0.7.73
p7zip: Version 9.20 (locale=en_US.UTF-8,Utf16=on,HugeFiles=on,4 CPUs)

do i need to change something ??? , still cant open rar

You may need to modify filebot.sh as well if you're using an older one and only upgraded the jar.

On Synology you can just download and install the latest SPK package => filebot-4.6.1-noarch.spk
